Best foundation to use for acne + continuous acne problems?!?

at the moment I've been using acne solutions foundation from clinique. i went to this foundation after nothing but clogged pores from covergirl. i usually only have acne on my chin so i was hoping that clinique would help. at night i wash first with a neutrogena pore cleanser, then with a neutrogena green scrub, then st. ives blackhead fighter, then clinique's acne solution. i also have a solution from the dermatologist which i put on my acne spots every night. I've had acne since 6th grade... in the same spot. you can see frustration here. I also don't wash my face in the morning, don't get mad i'll explain in a minute. I clean off the solution from the dermatologist with a washcloth with water, then put on cliniques moisture surge. i also have dry skin in the morning and by the end of the day it is very oily. the reason i don't wash my face in the morning is because if i have a few zits on my chin, when i wash my face it will somewhat pop the zit and foundation over a newly popped zit is not good. plus the zit continues to still push out all the stuff in it. acne ruins my life and after a number of visits to the dermatologist, nothing works. Dr decided about 4 months ago to do a complete blood panel on me as well as ANA testing. The ANA test came back postiive speckled 1:80 titer, sed rate of 25, RF negative, CK normal, Creat normal. So I went back and had them done again because of the ANA being positive. This time its ANA positive mixed pattern 1:40 titer, sed rate 25, RF negative, CK and Creat both normal, Anti-ssDNA 275 (high) and Anti-dsDNA negative or normal. They are referring me to a Rheumy but I am curious if anyone has had this mixture before. She told me if I had not had a previous positive ANA they would have considered the 1:40 titer as negative.

Do i need urgent medical attention?

Right okay, Its probably not urgent but here it goes.. During the last year i have been diagnosed with anxiety, i'm on 3 different types of medication: Mirtazapine, diazepam and propranolol. This combo has worked over recent times and i find it a good combination to help me through times. The propranolol has been for my fast heart rate and like 99% works a treat, but for about 4 days now i have had an extremely tight chest, my heart rate seems to be fluctuating between 130-170 bpm; to me this resembles a normal but not quite frequent panic attack.. but the scare came when i just took my dose of propranolol and diazepam and about 20 minutes later my right eye lost vision and my body felt numb, like completly numb i got such a surge of adrenaline i hoped out of my chair and and fell straight to the floor, heart racing and a hallucination so scary i seriously cant take this medication again. making my way to the phone to dial 999 i heard a voice in my head screaming not to phone its a waste of time, and no matter how i try i seriously cant do it and when someone asks if i'm okay i cant help but say im fine when quite clearly i'm in so much panic. I am training and doing a university degree in psychology and never have i crossed something like this since studying. it has all the symptoms of a panic attack, but ive experienced panic attack so bad ive passed out and so forth, so this seems much different. Typing this im calming down again but i feel it will happen again. is this something to be concerned about? P.S i also studied medicine for about 6 months, and the likely candidate for this could be a paradoxal effect of the diazepam/mirtazapine. but i cant help still imagining it happening again.

Speech in summer when school is out?

My son is 4 and half going to be five in november. She was able to access his cell phone account and change all his information on it, and is now sending threatening messages about contacting his probation officer to make sure his life is completely F**ked. She is a complete nut job, and after speaking to FBI that dealt with this to begin with the only thing they are telling me that we can do is get a restraining order. Why is she not being dealt with? He was on house arrest for 6 months and could not go anywhere and she showed up where he had to stay. Of course she was forced to leave, but the fact remains the same, he couldn't go anywhere, and if she were to do something he would not have been able to protect himself. We have a 10 year old son, and she has called on his cell phone, it is completely out of control and I can't seem to get any answers on how to get this person to stop. We are completely afraid to do anything where she might be able to get our information, find out where we live now, and afraid that she may do something else. I am at a loss and feel completely helpless, my husband doesn't know what to do, because if he doesn't answer her she goes completely balistic. personally i think you are doing the right thing as he will be attending a school that best suits his needs, if the school is one that has a good reputation then its likely he will receive one on one attention and be able to better his skills. It sounds as if he is a fast learner, however he may find that he is met by a lot of criticism in a main stream school mainly by other children which may cause him become distant and refuse to participate in many of his lessons. What was your experience with mono?

So i had to get a Hep B titer for school and on the lab report it said the result was positive for Surface AB (antibodies im assuming) . It did not give a range like my varicella titer did. Does this mean that my titer is positive or does it mean that I am infected with Hepatitis B ? How can they tell the difference if the antibodies are present because you are immune or because you are infected? can someone help me? my last vaccine was 9 years ago for Hep B

Why has the oven (both bake and broil) on my electric range oven stopped working?

This is the second time this has happened this year! The first time it happened we simply replaced our older appliance with a slightly newer, used one. This one is a GE and has no clock or any self-cleaning controls. It just has the 4 range/burner controls with a single oven control in the middle, which controls both oven temperature and broil. Neither the broil nor baking features work at all, and the indicator light does not come on when I turn on the oven. The range seems to be working fine, however. What's the problem? And why has it happened more than once so recently? We live in a very old house, and I'm concerned about the old wiring. Could there be surges or failures causing this?

Does your cat have feline diabetes or hypoglycemia? If your cat does his blood sugar may be too low. Hell need to be monitored and tested and i believe hell need a high fiber diet. I was having problems with my computer shutting down on its own and then I wasn't noticing a fan running prior to the issues. One day I came to the computer and nothing would turn on. My LMP was May 23 and my cycles range from 28(rare)-37(rare) days long with most of my cycles being about 33-35 days. My hubby and I did our little baby dance every day to every other during the week of June 6th-14th which should have been prime ovulating time. We were on vacation and in the ocean/pool every day all day so I didn't notice any stretchy/sticky cm but I do get it every single month! I do not temp. but I did use ovulation sticks and would get two lines but the test was never as dark as the control so either I missed my surge, my urine was too dilute or I didn't ovulate(which I doubt). I forget the exact date but around the 17th of this month I felt a sharp pinch on my right side and I was thinking ovulation or implantation. I took another OPK and got two lines again with the test still lighter than the control. Since then I have had cramping(especially on right side), alternating diarrhea and constipation, tiredness, increased urination, and still no period but the real kicker is my boob KILL! My boobs never hurt before my period but they kill on the sides, nipple is itchy and they feel fuller. Today is day 36 and still no period. I took a first response early pregnancy test this evening and it was negative. I will re-test in a couple days which feels like forever. I honestly feel pregnant. I have occasional bouts of some scant nauseous feeling but it never stays. Anyone else test negative with the early tests and still end up pregnant? what do you think? I'm 37 weeks pregnant and I tested positive for HSV antibodies at my 36 week appointment. I'm starting the valtrex tomorrow, but I am extremely concerned about passing this horrible virus on to the baby, as the effects can be detrimental. I have never had an outbreak before, at least not to my knowledge. I know people can have asymptomatic breakouts. I asked my midwife about this, and she said that if I don't have any active lesions, the virus won't spread to my baby, and I won't have a c-section. I still feel very uncomfortable. My question is, if I'm taking the valtrex, can I still pass the virus to my baby during natural birth? Would a c-section be a better option? Blood test results back, a little confused?

So i recently got my blood test results back. Sorry if this is all a little confusing, I am just relaying what was in the letter to this question. My HIV - 1/HIV - 2 Antibody Screen came up as positive, the lady I talked to said that this was an ELISA test. So they decided that they would followup with an HIV - 1 Antibody Confirmatory Test, which came back as negative they also did this for HIV - 2, which was negative. In the end they did a Multiplex HIV - 1/HBV/HCV NAT test which was negative. Im just so confused and worried that I have HIV, even though all the followup tests are negative. I can't exactly remember the last time I had sex, maybe a few weeks before that, and I used a condom. Can anyone explain to me if I am clean and safe or should I get another test in a few weeks. I should also mention that when I gave the test I felt a little sick and I have been since the test was administered on June 1, I might have mono. Would this complicate the results I get? Any help or explanation would be greatly appreciated.

Chance of getting pregnant if OPK not positive for a few days?

I am just learning a little about OPK. From what I read on fertilityfriend, "typically" you ovulate the day after your surge/positive OPK even though I know it can last from 12-36 hours. But If I take that info, would i still have a decent chance of being pregnant if we had sex yesterday but I don't get a positive OPK for another day or two?

Freightliner/Cummins tech needed. Where is the lift pump and could it be my problem?

I have a 2006 Freightliner MT45 with a Cummins 5.9 in it. My problem first presented itself as a surging condition, during acceleration, that would go away if I shut the truck off and restarted it. How many times should I do the ovulation Clear Blue test a day?

I hope you got the digital ones because I have found those to be the BEST! I will tell you that when I used them I tried both in the morning when I first woke up and then again around 2 or 3 pm. The day that I got my smiley face, I had tested when I first got up and got a negative....then got my positive at 3 o;clock in the afternoon! Next time I will only test in the afternoon and not in the morning because I have learned that the ovulation tests are not like pregnancy test in the way that you need to test in the morning. Unlike the pregnancy hormone, LH hormone takes a few hours after waking up to build up in your system so the afternoon testing is sufficient! Good luck and those smiley faces are super exciting!! =)

is it possible to receive a false positive test for hsv2 In that the antibody present that fights hsv2 is present for another reason? Maybe another infection needs the same antibody. And through a blood test you wouldnt know why its present but just that it is present assuming because of hsv2?

I have herpies antibodies in my blood by the doctor said im not contagious?

I went to the doctor today to get results and she said there were herpes antibodies in my blood cauesd from coming in contact with someone with herpes. ive never had any outbreaks or syptoms of herpes and i asked was i contagious and did i need to be carful having sex and she said no. but she was a vauge sort of doctor and Im still stressing. does anyone know more about this.. My cat has been electrocuted..what do I do?

Yea sounds like you have a few problems if I read that correctly, leave the car running on a flat spot, check the dipstick for tranny fluid should be to the right of the engine bay on your specific car, make sure to pull it out wipe and dip it, has to be at the second dot, it would only be doing that if the fluid is unreasonably low, if its not low and its full of fluid, your gear are probably starting to slip, high rpms while going a decent amount of speed is a sign of tranny failing, so is revving high before it goes, usually it bangs when it kicks in, if everything is banging a lot and making the interior of the car shake obnoxiously it could be the motor mounts, before you do ANY maintenance done and waste your money, get it diagnosed by a trusted friend that knows a lot about cars, when something is wrong with a car and you tell the mechanic to just FIX IT and you say you don't know what it is or much about cars they see jackpot and rip you off, so find someone who won't charge you to diagnose the problem and give you a quote, another good tip if your using a mechanic shop to fix it, tell them you'll buy the parts and bring them in, mechanics buy the cheapest brand, lowest quality part and charge you like they bought the best one, I'm not stereotyping mechanics, because i am one lol and i know all the ripping off that goes on, and honestly if any repair cost over $1000, i'd say scrap it, you get like $400 to junkyard a car depending on how much scrap they get out of it and model/make, because spending $1000 or more on a car that is 15 years old is just a terrible investment, for example, take the $400 and the $1000 that "say" it costs to fix your car, give or take a few hundred bucks and you get a decent reliable high 90s early 2000's 4 cylinder car, just trying to help people out who don't know much about cars, cause everyone gets ripped off these days it sucks, they should make automotive a mandatory class in middle/highschool cause everyone needs to drive and everyones car is gunna break some day, instead of them getting ripped off they'll have knowledge of what wrong atleast, ok i'm done preaching, good luck!

Now initially I thought he'd given them to me as about 1-2 weeks ago he had HORRIFIC mouth sores/cold sores n he did perform oral on me (stupid i know), so i just thought he'd given them to me n then id given them back..however ive just read that this isnt possible because if you get cold sores it cannot be transferred back to your own genitals if youve always had them (which he has) as your body would have produced antibodies, so that doesnt explain why we'd both have it...at the same time. I have been a 100% faithfull and i trust him but this is a bit strange as everywhere ive read said you'd get symptoms in the first 2-14 days and i THINK this is his first aswell because last night hed had two that had randomly appeared on his stomach and if your already immune (not your first attack) this is unlikely to happen. Its not impossible that I caught it off my ex cause he did cheat on me but we broke up 6 months ago, what is the likelyhood that one of us have been carrying it for a while n this is the initial attack? A clinic was offering free Rapid tests using the OraQuick ADVANCE RAPID HIV 1/2 test - my result came back negative and I have not been having any unsafe sex since. I am still extremely paranoid and I just want to let this fear go. I understand it's FDA approved and highly reliable in testing for HIV Antibodies, can I finally let my fear go that my result was negative? hello everyone. ok so i was taking the first response daily ovulation kit and got my first positive this past friday on the 17th. i tested for the next two days after that and was still getting positives. can anyone tell me WHEN i might have ovulated? also intercourse with hubby took place every day from the 13th until the 20th, and again i got my first positive ovulation test on the 17th. when might have i ovulated, and what are the chances i will become pregnant? oh, and is it normal to have more than one positive test for the lh surge/? three days straight? thanks for your help!

I have multiple questions about my diet and the problems i've been having..(Please help)?

Okay so, for a long time now, i've been dieting and exercising along with it obviously. Btw im a 14 year old girl, and my height is 5'6... weight, ill get into that later..(you'll see). So now for my exercise, i recently started running the mile... i was starting with once a week, then i eventually started running it almost everyday(trying) with the weather being crappy, rain etc. , also my brother, was taking me to the high school track where i live and that kind of stopped between him working, not having time, and being busy most of the time. So that stopped so i started instead walking down to my school which is literally a 6 minute walk away and running around the field 4 times or either the school(got sick of the field so just recently started running the school) which is a mile cause i did in gym class. I think this whole week, ever since monday, i've ran it everyday. i don't even know how to tell you my weigh and if its water or fat, it sucks! im either 157, 162,163,164,or 165. i was 163 last night, started out with 162 this morning, and now im 165! Ever since february, my doctor's appointment, i was 168, and i haven't seen that weight in a while so i think ive lost that.. i was told that i was not fat, but basically overweight for my age. I started cutting back little by little at that time, and it was hard for me so i stopped,(which i REALLY wish i didn't have) and started eating again, however somehow maintaining that weight(i forget howw) then it got easier in march, i figured out more ways, obviously april, and may... and i forget when but like i said i started running the mile little by little and now. So, my question is losing weight.. like more than 10.. but i actually think i know why this hasn't been going well is because the main reason, my dieting. It's been HORRIBLE and sooo hard for me. Between these awful cravings(my mom thinks im a sugar addict) and not being able to control it whatso ever. and the fact that i haven't been losing any weight, as much as i want to in this amount of time that im starting to give up then start up back again which is taking me incredibly soooo much amount of time than what i want it to. the beginning of today was going good for me, i was thinking about running the mile twice, but im soo tired and i just recently got a pain on the top of my leg, bottom, and it feels like a bruise and hurts running... there always has to be some freaking problem making it even HAAARDER for me! ugh! sorry.. the end of today though, not so good. i skipped dinner, thinking i would lose more, but it ended up backfiring me from being sooo hungry for the rest of the night. i did eat watermelon and a banana for dinner. but so farr ive aten 2 yogurts, two ice cream sandwhiches, ice cream, chips, i think maybe even a little bit more but yeah.... :( then i got really mad and started doing pushups and everything. i weighted myself, i was back at 165 and i totally gave up and started eating more but now, its stopped as i speak. My plan was to lose like all the extra fat off of me, so i could be skinny or thin again like 15-20 pounds before atleast summer, then it extended to 4th of july so i could be able to enjoy the food and wear nice clothing and look good and feel confident but now, 4th of july is just around the corner(3 days) and i have a party im attending and its not going to go well unless you could just magically lose 20 pounds in 3 days... maybe even just 10.... also, forget to mention, but my mom did say she has noticed a bloatyness i had on my face off and i look a bit less bloaty kind of that small layer of fat off if you know what i mean.... i dont get how that can happen when i was 168, 3 pounds more(well, depends if im still 165, never know with me i could go back down or whatever ugh) but that i dont get.. soooo.... I want to be a Registered Dietitian, and I know I need to go through a CADE certified program to get my license, but the college I'm attending my freshman year doesn't have that program. The college offers biology, chemistry, and health for majors (that I think are more related to nutritonal science than not), and of those I thought Bio is the closest related major. I know that as a freshman it doesn't really matter, but I want to transfer to a college that has the CADE certified stuff for my sophomore year. And the college I have in mind is highly competitive. I'm looking to settle a "discussion" where a person who claims to be a "Professional dog trainer" and Veterinary Technician is saying that some vets vaccinate every two weeks, sometimes starting as young a 4 weeks of age! Apparently this would be done so that the pup can attend dog shows before the age of 12 weeks for "socialization purposes". I called her on it, since as far as I know, that's a load of BS, and dangerous information to be putting out there ( on Facebook) I am interested in factual information from Veterinarians or certified Vet Techs only please. This is not a case of special circumstances with questionable maternal antibody transfer, or a case of splitting down the vaccination schedule into mono-valent shots; pups are from a fully vaccinated dam, and reportedly from a "responsible" breeder. Celiac Disease? gluten free?

Being that your uncle has Celiac is a red flag because it is hereditary. That being said, even though you are born with the illness, your symptoms may not show up until later in your life. For instance, I did not start having my symptoms until I was 17 years old. Also, being that you were gluten free and did not have the symptoms is also a red flag that you do have some form of gluten intolerance as someone with Celiac who eats gluten would not be able to keep the weight on because the body rejects the food you are eating, including the vitamins and minerals your body needs. The 20 in two weeks in concerning. I have issues within minutes of eating gluten as your body reacts to the food immediately. I would continue to eat gf if it helps you but I would also let the doctor continue to check for other health issues i.e. stomach cancer or gall bladder issues for another possible issue. It is possible to have a gluten intolerance and not have Celiac Disease and it's possible to have Celiac Disease and not have any symptoms of a gluten intolerance. Also, I am not sure of the time frame, but if you are gluten free before the test is done, your test will show negative anyway. I went to doctors and GI's for about 17 years before someone was able to identify what I had so I find that it's best to listen to your body and if you feel better and the symptoms are gone, then I would stick to the GF lifestyle.
