The presence of multiple medial moraines indicates ________.?

A medial moraine is created when two valley (or alpine) glaciers merge. Their lateral moraines are shared to produce the medial moraine of the bigger, resulting glacier. If another glacier merges further downstream, another medial moraine is produced in the same way. If a little further downstream another glacier joins, another medial moraine is created... and so on.
